Exempted Houses:
While the majority of homes in Ireland are subject to BER ratings, there are certain exemptions. These exemptions primarily apply to protected structures, temporary buildings, and properties with floor areas below 50 square meters. Buildings intended for specific agricultural uses and certain types of holiday homes may also be exempt.
